Experienced 310T / 310J Mechanic

• Inspection, diagnosis and repair of trailers through preventative and scheduled maintenance in shop
• Perform general trailer repairs on electrical and/or pneumatic systems
• Comply with safe operating procedures and company health and safety policies
• Conduct annual safety inspections
• Follow standard work order process and procedures, ensuring detailed, accurate and timely records
• Build a strong and supportive team network with co-workers, managers and customers
• Participate in a learning environment, working with apprentices on a regular basis
• Maintain a good quality inventory of personal hand tools
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Other various duties as required

We are looking for:

• 310J or 310T Licensed Technician (or working towards)
• Minimum 1-2 years of related work experience
• A cooperative team player attitude with a positive work ethic
• Experience operating hand and air tools,
• Ability to lift heavy parts (i.e. brake drums)
• Knowledge of transportation industry and regulations
• Good written and communication skills
• Experience with welding, is an asset
